  • What is CERVIS, anyway?"
CERVIS, short for Community Event Registration and Volunteer Information System, is the volunteer management software we use to track hours, manage events, and send communication.
  • Why is it important for me to update my CERVIS profile?
Without current information on file, you could miss out on important updates or opportunities. We ask that all volunteers update their CERVIS profile annually or whenever their information changes.
  • I lost my password and/or my login name. Can you help?
You betcha. Just send us an email at volunteer@accountingaidsociety.organd we can help. There is also a "Don't Know Password / Reset Password" button on CERVIS. As a tip, your login name is your email address.
  • I ran into some technical issues with CERVIS. Is it my computer or the system?
Could be either. Please send us an email at volunteer@accountingaidsociety.org describing the issue and we can troubleshoot with you. If we don't find a solution quickly, we will reach out to CERVIS for more help.
  • I should be able to register for a volunteer shift and I can't. What's going on?
Once you complete your certifications, we add you to specific groups in CERVIS which help us stay organized. Some events are only open to certain certification levels. It's possible we need to update your groups so you can view and register for events. Please email us and we'll sort it out.
  • Where can I find the link to CERVIS?
You can access CERVIS right on our Resources page here.
  • Is my information safe on CERVIS?
Absolutely. CERVIS does not use your data for anything other than providing service and has many safeguards in place. Additionally, we maintain a system log that tracks access to all stored information.
